All In: Conversations on Health in Nashville – Understanding Mental Health Needs and Collaborations for Care

December 13, 2019 @ 8:30 am - 10:00 am

Join national and local thought leaders for a conversation on collaborative efforts to improve mental health and well-being in our city.

Recently-released findings from the Nashville Community Health + Well-being Survey show Davidson County residents report having 5.3 poor mental health days in a 30-day period. This is a full day more than Nashville’s peer cities and outpaces the state and national average.

Join us as we discuss these findings and the collaborative efforts to improve mental health in our community with:

Paul Gionfriddo, CEO of Mental Health America

Amanda Bracht, SVP of Clinical Services at the Mental Health Cooperative

Todd Henry, Deputy Chief of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department

Dr. Greg James, Ascension Saint Thomas Chief Clinical Officer and Dean of the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center Nashville campus

Moderated by The Tennessean’s David Plazas.

The All In: Conversations on Health in Nashville Speaker Series brings together national experts with health, business, academic and community leaders to raise awareness of and discuss implementable solutions to Nashville’s most critical health challenges. The series is hosted by NashvilleHealth and Metro Public Health Department.
