You can also visit the Metro Public Health Department website for more resources.

Also, talk to your health care professional! The American Lung Association offers a few pointers on how to what to ask and how he or she can help!

Talk to your health insurance provider. Many times, there are free resources, tools, and step-down medications available.

  • If you are on TennCare, smoking cessation medicines are not considered part of your drug limit!
  • Here’s Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee’s page dedicated to helping people quit.
  • The American Lung Association has a nice recap of what is offered by different insurance providers.
  • Ask your office HR administrator for benefits through your workplace wellness offerings.

On Your SmartPhone

Quitter’s Circle: Designed for both those who want to quit AND the people who are encouraging them in their journey – because nicotine is a complex habit to quit! Thanks to the American Lung Association and Pfizer.
